Putin introduced fines for throwing garbage out of the car

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law establishing fines for throwing garbage out of vehicles. The relevant document is posted on the official Internet portal of legal information.


So, for the garbage thrown out of cars, motor vehicles and trailers to them outside the waste disposal sites or areas for their accumulation, Russians face administrative liability in the form of a fine in the amount of 10 to 15 thousand rubles, officials – from 20 to 30 thousand rubles, legal persons – from 30 to 50 thousand rubles.

A repeat offense can result in a double fine or confiscation of the vehicle from which the garbage was thrown.

If the violation was carried out using trucks, trailers for them, tractors and other self-propelled vehicles, the punishment will be for citizens from 40 to 50 thousand rubles, for officials – from 60 to 80 thousand rubles, for legal entities – from 100 to 120 thousand rubles. In case of a repeated offense, the fine will increase for citizens to 60 to 70 thousand rubles, for officials – from 80 to 100 thousand rubles, for legal entities – from 150 to 200 thousand rubles. In the last two cases, the confiscation of the freight vehicle is possible.
